How it works
When you enter a new recipient for a UK payment, the account name is checked against the sort code and account number. You also need to choose if it is a business or personal account. The check will come back as either a full match, a close match or no match.
If the result is a ‘no match’ we recommend you check the details with the recipient again, before sending the payment.
Please note, this service is only for UK to UK payments in GBP.
