The 10th edition of the Vendée Globe broke the record books and attracted an exceptionally talented field of 40 sailors from around the world.
The 2024-25 edition was marked by its difficult weather conditions and intense levels of competition. Boris Herrmann experienced a number of complex challenges during the course of his second solo lap around the world.
To finish the Vendée Globe in 12th position was an incredible achievement, and throughout the journey Boris demonstrated great resilience, ingenuity and courage in the face of adversity.
After 80 days at sea, Boris Herrmann was reunited with Team Malizia, family and friends.
