Pinta Miami 2025: Celebrating Latin American art

Pinta Miami, the leading contemporary Latin American art fair, returned to The Hangar in Coconut Grove for its 19th edition from 04-07 December 2025. The fair highlights the depth and diversity of art across the region, and with more than a decade of support from EFG as Global Lead Partner, continues to put Latin American art firmly on the map.

This year, Pinta Miami broadened its geographic scope, welcoming 40 galleries from 25 cities, and showcasing over 500 carefully selected artworks. With more than 16,000 visitors, the fair has evolved into a key destination during Miami Art Week, attracting artists, curators, gallery owners, collectors, and art enthusiasts from across the region and beyond.

2025 marked the 15th year of the EFG Latin America Art Award in partnership with ArtNexus. The award was originally created to celebrate the talent of Latin American artists and promote the region's leading contemporary art fairs, from which the shortlist of five nominees is drawn.

This year’s winner was announced during EFG’s preview evening on Wednesday, 03 December. Víctor M. Echevarría, Chairman, Latin America and Sanjin Mohorovic, Head of Latin America Region, were joined on stage by Diego Costa Peuser, Director and Founder of Pinta Miami, and Celia Sredni de Birbragher, Editor and Founder of ArtNexus magazine, to present the award to Brazilian artist, Ana Mazzei.

Ana Mazzei’s winning artwork, Estrela (Star) 2024, was shortlisted at SP-Arte fair in São Paulo, and it is part of a series called ‘Garden Scenes’, a group of mysterious and dreamlike artworks that appear frozen in time. The piece now goes on display as part of the EFG Latin America Art Award Collection in EFG’s Miami office, where it serves as a daily reminder of the creative energy that drives the region.

This sentiment was echoed by Víctor M. Echevarría in his welcome message: “Our partnership with Pinta Miami reflects our dedication to Latin American art and the cultural richness of the region. Our collaboration is grounded in shared values: a commitment to excellence, support for regional diversity, and a vision orientated towards international expansion.”
