Results of Exchange Offer for EFG Fiduciary Certificates

Zurich, 11 January 2012 – On 30 November 2011, EFG International (Guernsey)
Ltd announced its offer to exchange EFG Fiduciary Certificates for Basel III
compliant Tier 2 Bonds. The Exchange Offer was made subject to receipt of
approvals by both an extraordinary meeting of shareholders of EFG
International AG and a meeting of holders of the EFG Fiduciary Certificates.
Following yesterday’s approvals by both meetings, EFG International
(Guernsey) Ltd announces the final results of its Exchange Offer.
