Job description

The HR Management support is the person in charge of assisting the Global Head of HR in her daily activities and on varied tasks. This essential role helps to ensure that the needs of the Global Head of HR and of Global HR at large are met and that all necessary activities and interactions are taken care of and completed with the required confidentiality.

Main responsibilities

  • Support Global Head of HR in her day-to-day activities by acting as key reference person to handle multiple levels of advanced administrative duties, including prioritizing the daily HR schedule and workload with respect to the bank’s committees (ExCo, GBC and RemCo);
  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation, collection and follow up related to the deliverable memorandum, materials and presentations prepared for the main bank’s committees in relation to HR as well as the organization and preparation of the various Global HR meetings;
  • Proactively drive and execute assigned ad hoc HR initiatives and contribute to content (incl. data collection, reports preparation, projects contribution or coordination);
  • Manage time-bound information flow in an effective and accurate manner with very high level of discretion and confidentiality;
  • Draft communications and other correspondence;
  • Cooperate with varied staff members both within the global HR team and across the bank to create and maintain inter and cross-departmental relationships that enable leadership success and ensure a successful and effective team approach.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience as Management Support or Assistant reporting directly to senior management;
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking ability; able to manage priorities and workflow in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment;
  • People-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills able to work globally and collaboratively with stakeholders across functions and countries,
  • Friendly and professional demeanour;
  • Flexible and curious mindset;
  • Precise and detail-oriented;
  • Excellent English skills (mandatory), any other language would be an advantage; able to thoughtfully structure key messages and information with clarity and impact;
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Power Point and Excel are extensively used).
